GPSR Update and EU Posting.

If you haven’t heard, as of Dec 13th 2024 a new regulation has come into effect in the European Union, the GPSR Regs.

These regulations are in place to protect you, the customer. But it does give us smaller builders a small headache. While my products are safe, RoHS etc I do not have them labelled so which I can do relatively easily, the main issue we are facing is having an Authorised Representative based in the EU. If we had an EU distributor then they could assume that role but its not something that I have managed to secure however now its something I am actively working towards. Also we now need to include documentation with every item in the customers countries language. You will have seen something similar in many larger brands (TVs, mobile phones etc) that list safety regulations in many different languages, so we will be working on getting those in place as well.

Going forwards until everything is in place we won’t be offering services to the EU or Northern Ireland. If you have any issue with your pedals and are in the EU or NI, then we would love it if you could email us so we can discuss it but there will be a delay on repairing/replacing your pedal until the documentation is in place, which should be early 2025.
